In this 1-hour PCIT CE Program, Certified PCIT Global Trainers (Dr. Christopher Campbell and Amber Brick, LCSW) provide an overview of Teacher Child Interaction Training, an adaptation of PCIT for use with teachers in daycare, preschool, and Kindergarten classrooms. Participants will learn how TCIT overlaps with PCIT, in addition to important adaptations in TCIT that were designed to increase social, emotional, and behavioral competencies in children, and improve teacher efficacy and job satisfaction. This program is designed for clinicians who are interested in supporting educators and students within their community. Learning Objectives: At the end of this program, you should be able to: 1) Explain at least 3 benefits of the CDI phase for students 2) Describe at least 3 benefits of the TDI phase for teachers 3) Explain at least 1 similarity and 1 difference between PCIT and TCIT Observation Sessions 4) Describe at least 2 similarities and 2 differences in the CDI phase between PCIT and TCIT 5) Describe at least 1 similarity and 1 difference between the PDI Teach Session and the TDI Teach Sessions in TCIT
